Just finished Binge watching Battle Star Galactica. It turned out to be a better show than I thought it would be.

Normally, I binge watch shows that I wait to see on DVD/BD (TrueBlood/WalkingDead/AHS) and when I do I generally watch 1 disc a night (if possible).

I haven't netflixed yet.

Nah, you've got to see the finale, so you can sit there scratching your head going "wth" with the rest of us.

Now Fringe's finale, really had me "????" all over the place. I got some bizarre answers.

I was okay with the finale. It wasn't mind blowing, but it wasn't bad.

Unless I'm making it a regular social gathering to watch episodes with friends, I'm terrible at keeping up with shows these days, so if it is something I'm interested in I often binge watch a lot of episodes at once until my eyes hurt on a day when there's nothing to do. dead

back in the olden days I used to always watch Melrose Place every week with 5 other friends without fail mushy

I'm the mistake you wanna make

that was the first show I ever binge watched!!!

It got to the point where we would try and watch 3 episodes back to back and the end result was I'd be so tired and falling asleep after about a week the opening credits music PUT ME TO SLEEP!

Imay be in the minority, but I liked the finale. There were a few episodes and storylines BEFORE the finale that I didn't like, but I liked how they wrapped it up. It made sense, but I don't remember how the original wrapped up except that they did get to modern day earth

The original series lasted one season. The spin off, which was on "earth." Lasted ten episodes.

In 2010 I did a lot of binge watching, especially when I sprained both ankles at the same time because I couldn't do nothing else.

Watched all seasons of Monk, Lost, and I forget what else. The library rents out the videos for $1 a week for the entire seasons. I watched day through night and woke up again and watched the whole 2/3 weeks I was off.

Oh my goodness, that has been one of the few themes I watch almost every episode. Partly to check the number.

The funniest to me was Breaking Bad's, all of what, 5 seconds.

It's suppose to be storming this saturday, so as I do some chores around the house I'll finish up House of Cards (I didn't even suspect that of Francis but it explains a lot), a few episodes of the last season of Burn Notice, I missed the episode of Scandal so there's that but that's just episode 11. I'm out of shows to binge on.

I've tried the 1st episode 2x, maybe I ought to skip that one and move to the 2nd one.

My son and I were both sick with the flu and while laying on couch in the living room, and with Apple TV and HBO GO at our disposal, binged the entire season of TRUE DETECTIVE. It was incredible.

Afterwards, still sick,, binged the first two seasons of GAME OF THRONES.

One would think that was enough - as we're both well now, and he went to school today - but, we cannot end on season two. We will continue our binge until we are caught up to season four.

This is a ridiculous, I know.

It’s funny to me that this is somehow considered a “new” phenomenon as I started binging way back when entire seasons of shows became available on dvd. I didn’t have cable for years and years so when anything good came out on dvd I’d buy or rent them and watch in huge chunks. My first big binge watch, in fact, was Sex and the City and the first few seasons I even had on VHS. lol

In any case, my most recent binge watch shows are:

Breaking Bad (I missed this completely when on the air, now just waiting for the last half of the last season to be streaming on Netflix)

Orange is the New Black

Dexter (I stopped borrowing them from a friend somewhere around season 4 and it’s streaming now)

30 Rock (going back through the catalog. I love Tina Fey and the character of Tracey Jordan just kills me, every single damn line he has)

I guess it comes down to the format. Streaming.

The fact that it is so easy to do so without even having to get up and out of your chair to change a disc and to go to the next episode is what's "new" here.

I have a huge collection of DVDs that are now unnecessary. It was pretty dumb to have spent tons of money on those now that I can just jump to that show via Netflix, Hulu or any of the other various sources. In fact, I may just sell them all on eBay.

But yeah, I binge watched a lot of those when I got them.

kevin spacey's character leaves a bit to be desired, as does his wife. i find schemers repellent, and they are both straight up cold blooded! BUT he is supposed to be nasty, at least he isn't supposed to be the good guy. maybe i'll try watching it another time.

You have less than a month to watch season 3 of Game of Thrones before season 4 starts. Avoid reading any reviews or comment sections under any articles about the show until you've seen all 10 episodes.

It's done in the model of Shakespeare and it's just a simple wicked indulgence. It is so over the top, nobody could possibly be doing that kind of stuff in real. Right? It feels funny to like the relationship between husband and wife, they are so unconventional, but damn they are a team, have each other's back and are perfectly honest with one another, the ideal couple, at the same time they are horrible people.

I'm trying to watch the original House of Cards, but I don't understand British politics (not that I understand American politics so well but I get the gist), and it's a bit older not as aggressive, but I want to see how much is similar.

i know. i watched season one and liked it, but i don't think i'll ever acquire any sympathy for the 'ideal couple'. they're interesting to watch in the sence that watching a spider weave webs is interesting.
