RIP phillip seymour hoffman

By PERVAIZ SHALLWANI Award-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead Sunday afternoon in his New York City apartment, a law-enforcement official said. The New York Police Department is investigating, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine exact cause of death. The official said Mr. Hoffman, 46 years old, was found dead at his apartment at 35 Bethune St. in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan.

He was one of the most accomplished actors of his generation.

Regardless of how he died, or what he struggled with in life, he is now at peace. Let's hope and pray for those he left behind.

Wow.

I don't think I've ever seen a movie with him in it where he wasn't excellent. The Master, Synecdoche New York, Charlie Wilson's War, Doubt, etc.--all made better because he was cast. This is a huge loss for cinema.

It's weird to think of a movie like Red Dragon where Hoffman played an asshole who you are happy gets killed in it, now it is just weird.

No...he been dead for a WHILE. He brought his zombified/undead slf to a Beverly hills plastic surgeon and the doc did his best. What u see today is the result of that series of plastic surgeries. Should last another 200+ years.
