A dream within a dream

Who has ever had one? I never have woken up from a dream only to realize I'm still in a dream.

I have woken up from a dream, been relieved it was only a dream, got up, had a shower, got dressed and gone to work. And then woke up for real mad

I cant recall if Ive had a dream in a dream but I have realized numerous times half way in a dream that Im dreaming and have tried to consciously manipulate the dream the way I've wanted and have been successful.

I like the whole notion that dreams are your subconsciousness trying to figure out real life stress issues to relax.

Then again I remember most of my dreams more than most people it seems and have gotten really good at realizing when deja vu is bout to happen.

i once dreamt i was shagging a really hot girl... i then woke up to realise i'd fallen asleep in the middle of actually shagging a really hot girl.... i then really woke up to find the dog yelping and running for the back door... i then truly woke up with my wife punching me and telling me not to ever apologetically offer to buy her a bone in the middle of a love making session again

Nope never.

I once had sleep paralysis.....one of the most terrifying experiences of my life at the time.

When I look back now it was pretty cool though smile

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

nope...never done it. on PBS's nova website, theres a very interesting program abiut dreams and their possible purposes. its seems primarily they're primarily practice runs for actual life. your brains way of going through run-throughs in order to habe summin under its belt in the even it runs into a precarious situation. they presented people with a problem before bed, the people who didnt dream did ok with a solution the next day, the people who reported dreaming, did a little better, and the people who reported dreaming about the said problem did even better.

It has been many years, but I recall this happening in high school once or twice. Can't remember details, unfortunately.

So they are really. Rare, but real. Okay, I can be at peace now.
