"My Job Is To Harass You Bitches," Explained The Woman Who Dialed 911 Operators 59 Times In One Day Oklahoma, Misuse Of 911, Harassment FEBRUARY 28--An Oklahoma woman charged with placing dozens of obscene and harassing calls to 911 gave a police emergency operator a curious rationale for her actions: “My job is to harass you bitches,” said Regina Sanders. The 44-year-old Sanders, seen at left, dialed the Tulsa Emergency Communications Center 59 times over an eight-hour period last year, according to a District Court criminal information. Sanders has been charged with placing “obscene/threatening/harassing” phone calls and interfering with police emergency operators, both misdemeanors. It is unlikely that the officer who apprehended Saunders said, “My job is to arrest you, bitch.”

Busted For 911 Phone Sex http://www.thesmokinggun....-phone-sex The Florida man was arrested yesterday after allegedly placing a series of obscene 911 calls during which he asked a female operator about her breasts and whether she would have sex with him. When confronted by cops, Basso would not say whether he was masturbating while talking to the operator, as he claimed during the calls, according to a Tampa Police Department report. Listen to an excerpt from one 911 call here: The 29-year-old rooming house resident admitted placing the calls, but "did not think he would get in trouble for calling 911." That miscalculation resulted in Basso being charged yesterday with a misdemeanor count of misusing the 911 system (he was booked into the Hillsborough County jail, where the mug shot at left was taken). Asked why he chose to dial 911 from among "all the numbers he could have called," Basso told police that his LG cell phone was out of minutes and he "called 911 because it was free." An excerpt from one of Basso's calls--which he placed while a shower was running in the background--can be listened to above.
