The reigning Miss Delaware Teen USA, Melissa King, relinquished her crown today after an amateur porn video allegedly of her performing sex acts was posted online. In the video, the actress claimed to be a beauty pageant contestant who was doing the porn video for money.

So what? Big deal. I don´t think that the video will make her less attractive. Beauty pageants and their rules are hypocritical and ridiculous anyway. I´m not even sure whether that´s the same girl in the video, her shoulders look different.

I don´t support 18 year olds being in porn but I don´t really see the point. What does one thing have to do with the other?

she agreed to the rules and she knowingly lied about it. (I assume they ask that question)

Shit like this is gonna become more and more commonplace as this wired generation becomes adults and move into the world. In 5 years amatuer porn tapes and pics wont mean a thing.

Only reason it's a "big deal" is because she wasn't being truthful about it. If she was, they might have let it slide.

Actually, what's sad about this episode is the reason why she did it, which frankly is not shocking at all; in fact, it's as old as humankind. She didn't say she wanted to do a porn video out of curiosity or because she was a kinky freak or because she was a total exhibitionist. She said she was doing it for money. And if you wonder why she would sell herself so low just to get those benjamins and what her parents would think about it, TMZ reported that she has been in foster care all of her life, so she had no parental foundation to fall back on. My stepmom was a temporary foster parent, and I can say from experience that some of the kids who came through the system were really messed up, whether they got into juvenile delinquency or were just victims of parental neglect or abuse. Combine that with the fact that porn is so ubiquitous and that some young women look to Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian as role models, and it's no surprise that she would whore herself out.

lol I think the actors (some of them) would agree that it isn't so empowering though some others may also disagree and say it is empowering lol of course not everyone is gonna be happy doing porn.
