Plug UR Favorite 'Natural' or 'Alternative' Products

Yall.

I love Mrs Meyers laundry detergent, especially thei basil scent or the lemon verbana scent. I'm serious---my laundry smells like heaven.

This stuff is like ambrosia for clothing. It's just.....amazing.

Trader Joe's toothpaste, both with fluoride and without.

It's the only brand that I can easily find that does not have Sodium Laurel Sulphate in it, which gives me terrible canker sores.

And it's cheaper than the stuff I could get online. In fact, it's cheaper than regular toothpaste!

This stuff is great. I wish sodium Luyrle Sulfate would be removed from all products.

All it does is gel the material and add bubbles and shit. No need for it.

My daughter started using Alba botanicals underarm deodorant. It's not as effective as I'd like, nor as long-lasting - she needs to reapply throughout the day - but I like that it's free of PEG, aluminum, etc because she's only just turned 10 and I read / heard that some of those ingredients, as well as BPAs (plastics) may contribute to early puberty. And she's started early puberty which is why she's been needing deodorant.
If anyone has a good recommendation for an all natural deodorant that works really well, please share.

Use the crystal deoderants (from Thailand).

Natural health stores sell them.

They are much more effective and last forever. I had a stick last 2 years (with daily use).

It uses a form of aluminum that is naturally mined and does not soak into the bloodstream.

Of course, you have to make sure it's from a health food store, because there are commercial

brands that use the synthetic type and that's of no benefit.

But, here's a brand of deoderant that I found worked much better than ALba or Jason brands.\\

I use the crystal deodorant 99% of the time. Under normal circumstances it totally does the job.

If I have some event where I think I might really get hot, I use the nuclear stuff, but I'm not convinced it actually works any better
