Working the day after Christmas is a drag

I took off Christmas Eve to finish getting everything ready. Should have taken today off to.

Pffffft!

I have people coming over tonight. It was originally suppose to be Thursday night.

Pfffft!

I think next year I'll take off at least a week for Christmas.

I start work at 8:00am.

This morning I was startled out of bed by a phonecall at 8:07am.

I am exhausted & dehydrated (thank you Captain Morgan).

So yeah...should'a taken off from work today.

I worked Christmas Eve (two jobs), Christmas Day (two jobs) and the day after Christmas (two jobs). Not always fun, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to make ends meet.

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I hate it because you can't drink on Christmas Day because you have to get up the next morning to go to work. I wish I could have taken the rest of the week off but I'm the only person working in the office right now.

I feel sorry for people who have to work after Christmas because I think everyone needs that extra day to recover from all the festivities

I run some websites, so I have to sit down at the computer and work whenever a new idea hits me, or someone suggests one to me. sad

I took the day after off, because I knew I would need it, and need time to play with all my new toys and accessories under the glo the christmas tree by myself, gorging myself on leftovers(thanks ma) and sweets, then pass out for a nice nap wake up and do it all over again. But the day after that was hard to go to work, especially after digging my way and other neighbors out of 4 feet of snow
