I'm still procrastinating on iCloud

I am still so pissed that I'm going to lose my iDisk - and have to spend money to upgrade to Snow Leopard and Lion - that I still haven't done it.

Anyone else in my boat?

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I have no idea why, but I just hate the thought of my data on someone's server. lol

Try Microsofts Skydrive. 7GB for free (25 if you are already a member), much cheaper for more space, and allows storage of video, unlike icloud (wake up Apple).

It works on OS and Win, and you can pull down to XBOX if you have the need.

hmmm

I'm going to need iCloud to synch my iTunes purchases automatically, though. So I'm going to have to do it either way.

If you do iTunes Match, be prepared for headaches. Slow-to-freezing uploads, freezes on iPhone/iPad, and randomly not being able to access songs you uploaded. This application of iCloud has seemed to me to be a rare Apple misstep.
