So I have these wings in the oven..

I'm on this diet and I'm trying to eat healthy and whatever. So I looked up a healthy fried chicken recipe (yeah, like it exists right lol) and I added some of my own flavor to what I found:

I melted some butter and poured it into a zip lock bag that already had my meat in it (three whole chicken wings) and shook it a little bit to cover all the wings.

Next I added some gound black pepper, garlic powder, garlic salt, and seasoning salt shook it some more.

Lastly I put some flower in the bad and shook it once more. Then put it in the oven at 425 degrees.

I hope it's good, cuz I'm fucking starving. Even if it's nasty I'm going to eat the hell out of it cuz I don't believe in throwing away food plus I don't have any money for wing stop. lol

Should be done in about 45 minutes to and hour. Do you guys think it'll be tasty?

I made eggplant parmesean tonight... there is NO way I need to be eating this stuff on a regular, all that cheese?

Sooooooooo good! But its too much cheese... but I can't help it. redface There's lotsa of fresh plum tomatoes I used for the sauce though...

I have Oprah's or Rosie's cook book and that unfried chicken recipe... I don't like it at all. lol

Hope the chicken's great biggrin hot sauce sounds like the ticket!

Chile highfive I'm on my egglplant kick too. This weekend I made whole grain spaghetti with eggplant, ragu sauce, and Kraft Cracker Barrel Extra Sharp shredded cheese. Lawd drool I know I gained about 2 pounds. lol Now I got to spend this week trying to burn what I stuffed down my throat. Today I had an eggplant wrap with red and green peppers, herb and garlic Mrs. Dash seasoning and some of that Cracker Barrel cheese (I didn't use too much, scouts honor wink).

As for you Towel, your chicken sounds tasty, sans the hot sauce barf I've never been into hot sauce either, but I sprinkle some cayenne pepper on almost every thing I bake. Even sprinkle some on my egg white omelets. It's quite tasty and gives it a kick. nod Hope your chicken turns out to your liking! thumbs up!

I do my wings in the oven with that Chinese Rib sauce a pich of tarragon herb (I let it marinate over 24 hours in the fridge) then bake and add brown sugar on the top last 15 minutes to get a nice crisp..... then sprinkle with chopped scallions/chives on top before serving.

disbelief

Shameful.

Okay, the verdict: They were...AMAZING!! Very flavorful and crispy. I'm making them again tomorrow! I just have to remember to cut the tips off next time.

I feel accomplished. biggrin I wish I would have made more than three..damn I want some more! But it's too late to be eating plus they take an hour to make.

Can't wait til tomorrow! lol
