Okay, we're what? Three episodes into the second half and haven't lost a soul. Yeah, it's moving kind of slow right now, but I figure since they took the girl then the gloves are off and anyone is up for grabs, literally in this case. And how often do they check the corpses for bite marks, that was peculiar? Was that a subtle way of introducing a new twist? Ain't it time for them to leave the farm?

yeah, I agree with Erin. I'm a big fan of the comics, and they've already deviated a bit from the written plot.

Let's just say there's stuff that happens in the comics that I don't think television viewers could handle AT ALL.

the books are so much better.

with that being said, I don't think anyone major is gonna get it in the next three episodes.

I do think Randall is trouble and will eventually bring his group to fight Rick's group.

Merely a guess. I just think pretty much all of these people would be useless beyond the end of this season. Maggie, I suppose, might add some plot interest as Glen's love interest, but I think everyone sees the tragic end to that relationship coming from a mile away.

Yes, they'd have to replenish those numbers, but the books (though I've only glanced through them) seem to have a constant succession of new characters.

I'll probably start to lose interest a bit when Shane goes. I much prefer his character over Rick's. I'm actually not really following how Rick has suddenly gone from one extreme to the next. It's too weird.

At least Shane's pathetic character is consistent and therefore more realistic, imo.

But he's also hot, so I don't want him to go...and I'm guessing most female viewers agree with me and this is why they will keep him on as long as possible.

But they are putting a lot of effort into making Shane look so bad, who knows they might pull a fast one and surprise us all. Since I haven't seen the graphic novels it'll all be a surprise to me. Seems like it's time for the farm to be overrun with walkers or something.

I called Dale's death... but I didn't expect it to happen like that!

I'm not one to wish ill on a child -- even a fictional character -- but let's just say I support the idea of than annoying little Carl reuniting with buddy Sophia in heaven... and sooner than later.

Of all the long-term surviving characters, T-Dog has enjoyed the least amount of development material through this entire season, which is a shame. I get the impression writers simply don't know what to do with him. I think he might bite it if/when the farm is invaded by walkers or the rival gang of humans, but I'd prefer that his character last long enough to have contributed something memorable at least by the end of this season.

That goes back to what some body said earlier-- how is it that the farm is so "safe"?

Also, if Carl had not taunted that walker, it would not have struggled as much to get free... and would not have been a threat to anyone.
