HGTV: Selling New York vs Selling L.A.

I really like watching this series. I get to peek into homes and areas in the city I would never have the chance to see and just to see how the 1% lives! mad

What I found to be the most intresting, how PHONEY the L.A. people are compared to New Yorkers. It's makes me ill feeling ill disbelief barf

New Yorkers are much more to the point, no games, just cut throat business. At least I can tell where I stand with a New Yorker, and you know these folks have serious old $$$$$$.

L.A. folks on the other hand are just so transparent. You know they can't afford anything these phoney, plastic, comestically altered realtors are showing potential clients, who are just like them. It makes me sick. mad

I heart NY

Well that is an interesting oxymoron; they are phoney but they are transparent? hmm

I don't watch the show, but I have visited both places and if I were to leave Minnesota, I would definitely be hitting the West Coast. Everything is just much more fun, sunny and relaxed. I found New York to be dirty and dark and too impersonal. My twocents
