What makes you smile?

Life can and will hand you steaming piles of doody at any given moment.

But sometimes something happens that cuts through the darkness and plasters a smile on your face.

It could be something grand, or something insignificant. Each one of us has to have a trigger...

- the laugh of a child

- finding money on the street

- puppies

- a good meal

- double rainbows

- an old person falling

- a cute but too-young cashier at Burger King openly flirting with your old-ass self

mushy We all have our moments, right?

So tell me, denizens of the Org...what brings a smile to YOUR face!?!?!

No, that's not my "list"...just a random string of whatever popped into my head as I was typing...

I'm trying to decide what exactly makes me smile.

Here's something to make you smile...

...my little one got a cool early-Christmas gift from my friends when we were at the Lego store in NYC the previous weekend.

He put it together and he wanted to show them how cool it is. So I told him that I'd videotape it and e-mail them the link.

HOWEVER, big sister and cousin wanted "in" on the action...

the smell of a wood burning fireplace on a cold winter's night...

a hug, or kiss....just because....

The obvious answer of my kids. Stuff they do and thinking about stuff they do. My kids are funny and cute and perfect (to me, anyway).

Doddery old people make me smile a lot. I see a lot of doddery old people and they're so funny. They always make me smile.

Stupid things that happen daily in my life make me smile.

People falling over makes me smile.

My favourite comedians, Michael McIntyre, Lee Evans, Jimmy Carr, Russel Kane, Alan Carr, etc.

I'm actually reading Michael McIntyre's autobiography right now, I've smiled and laughed a lot, at what he's written, so far!

One of my friends, he has one the cutest faces ever. lol

Cute things. razz

Nice weather (especially at this time of the year).

The jokes people in my family make.

The feeling when I've accomplished something.

Listening to my favourite artists.

Seeing old friends after a long time.
