Had it not been for this TVONE series I don't think I would know much about her except she was the hottest black woman of the early 80s or something. I read that she was tapped to play one of the Charlie's Angels back in the 70s or something but the producers weren't sure she would be well received because she was black. Instead they went with Kate Jackson. Yeah big leap there.

She talked about endometriosus (sp) which I knew only a little about due to my other woman of color crush Padma Laksmi from Top Chef. Sad when your own uterus makes you ill. The doctor told Jayne that pregnancy would cure the endometriosis but it came back.

I wonder why she and Leon Isaac didn't have kids. A child of theirs would have been breath-takingly gorgeous.

I remembered an interview she and her ex-husband did with 'Ebony' magazine, back in the day. They said that schedule conflicts prevented them from settling down, and have a family.

I fondly remember her and Bernadette Robie as my first BIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGG crush, I was eight. She was fine x 590,000,000 and still is, it's too bad she had to go through that bullshit to be taken seriously. Before anybody even thinks of bringing it up, I never saw " The Tape " and don't know if it still exists. Glad to see she still doing well.
