Does Anyone Remember This TV Show?

Defintley one of my all time favorites, sadly i had the seasons and they got lost awhile back, i have had a huge itch to get the seasons again/:

Any who, this show is probably one of the darkes, most disturbing but also fascinating shows i ever came across. I loved the dark imagery, and the storylines involving the real meaning of religion, the people behind religion & false prophets.

Anyone else a fan?(;

Not trying to feed into Conspiracy here lol

But it has been noted that Chris Carter creator of this, The X-Files & The Lone gunman had written stories way ahead of there time.

In Millinnium there is a whole plot about the Bird Flu, and how the government is all about control, and another episode in The X-Files/Gunman universe had a story about a plane being hacked to crash into the twin towers.

Just stories of course but still interesting...

Yup. nod I must say that over time some of the story lines got confusing. BTW I was very disappointed in the last episode of the X Files. neutral

I never watched it religiously, but one episode sticks out in my mind. It involved 4 demons who appeared as old men to everyone except for the lead character on the show. He saw them for who they really were. The entire episode recounts each one of their stories and they're ripe with dark humor. Does anyone else remember that one?

I do not watch T.V. but sheer boredom at 6a.m. got me to click on this thread. This is the type of show I would watch if I did choose to sit down in front of a T.V. screen. Now I hope I can find it someplace to rent and see. (If I watch T.V. shows without seeing the commercials I am fine. I can watch movies also. But regular T.V. with commercials I can not sit through. I don't know if that is my ADD or what.)

I'm the same way. I can't abide constant commercials that are louder than the tv show. I think it causes ADD!!! That's why I like Netflix. They put the shows on with no ads. If not, I just watch movies.

I used to watch this too, loved it. Not sure how many seasons we had in the UK though?

I can't either.
I endure it while watching sports but that's it.

I can't endure it for any television show. They can't be that good.

Thanks! You and noimageatall make me feel a bit more normal. My parents were both heavy TV watchers and when I left home in the 80's that was the end of knowing what was going on in TV land for me. I have watched one episode of friends and maybe 2 of Seinfeld. When I talk to some people I feel like I am from another country. I don't share any of their cultural references.

Netflix is great for that. Picture quality isn't the greatest, but I get foreign flicks and tv series there.

Thanks! I'm going to have to track down that episode; I haven't seen it in years. Actually, I've been meaning to watch the whole series, but I have so many other things to catch up on I haven't gotten around to it.

Is this something that is available in box sets?
