but it brings up the creepy part: with your plate number anyone can get all sorts of info on you and people you know. One web site lets you look up anyone that has ever lived at a given address (well in the last 20ish years)

ummmm....can I pleasehave that website that lets you look up anyone that has ever lived at a given address?

Google public records search sites. They charge money but they are out there and they are legal.
