Let Me Ask You Silly, Semi Random Questions.....

Being that I haven't been a regular .org poster in a very long time, I figure some silly randomness would be a good way to break the ice, as everyone loves talking about themselves.

( How long? Let's put it this way...my last regular stint on the org was when IceNine and AzureStar were the .org homecoming king and queen, and there were warring factions forming over the banning of 2the9s...the 6 of you who remember any of that, feel free to raise your hands:D)

Stop by, say hi, and I'll ask you something. You obviously reserve the right not to answer, but I promise to keep it lighthearted.

Also, feel free to ask me silly questions too biggrin

Well, I figured a few people might, but I'm not counting on it. I'm essentially still a newb to most of you biggrin

In any case, here's your question.

Do you play video games? If so, what's the last one you beat?

Yes, in a big way. The last one I beat was Ys: The Oath in Felghana. The last one I beat that anyone might have heard of was Donkey Kong for the old Game Boy. lol

How about you?

I play lots of stuff...I recently weaned myself off of my City Of Heroes addiction, and the last game I beat was Limbo on X Box Live Arcade.

As far as an old school game...to this day I have never beaten the Battletoads game for the original green and black screen Game Boy. Arrgh!

Can you recommend me some restaurants in the DMV area? I travel through there pretty often, and I'd appreciate any help hugely biggrin Doesn't have to be fancy, just delicious.

Never played the GameBoy Battletoads but if it's anything like the NES version I'm not surprised. I can beat almost every game that gave me trouble as a child but that one is still beyond me.

What's your favorite memory from the old Org?

Shit...

confuse

Ummm I beat Fallout: New Vegas two nights ago. lol

No but I am no restaurant connoiseur(sp?) by any means. I have heard good things about The Palm in DC.

I really liked this little Turkish spot called Cazbar in Baltimore

And I'm sure there's good eating to be found in Little Italy in Baltimore as well.

I'm gonna go ahead and ask any of the other DMV area natives to help me out on this one.

It is if anything WORSE than the NES version, and continues to annoy me lol.

My favorite old .org memory? I complimented another orger on a hat she was wearing in a photo, and she sent me the identical hat in a different color, just to be nice, as she rarely wore them.

It was such a sweet , random thing to do, and this used to be the sort of place where people were by and large cool like that biggrin I'm noticing the tone has changed a bit now.

Hey, that was helpful. I'm a tubby little fat kid on the inside, and I hate not knowing what's good when I travel biggrin

When they shut down transit/evacuated downtown for Irene...all I could think of was how oddly still it was...no cars, no people....reminded me of Fallout. Needless to say I lost my taste for that particular game at the moment biggrin

Loved part 3, but loved New Vegas even more. Though the whole recognizing landmarks in 3 was kinda cool.

Glad it helped.

I don't think I can pin down an exact time, but we were both head over heels in love after one night. I would probably say very shortly after that I had a feeling we'd be together forever.

I drove around the Tampa Bay area collecting carpet foam underpadding from flooring stores and baled them up and loaded them on a semi-truck to go to a recycler. Not interesteing, but totally unusual!

I now play with dirt for a living in the geotechnical engineering field, so that's probably not usual either.

In any case, here's your question:

What was the most riiculously bad date you've ever been on?

I once took the grenade for a friend of mine and ended up with an obese redneck girl in Mississipi, who loved the fact that I was exotic because I was "Chinese". It was truamatic in the sense that she had never been out of Mississipi except to Pensecolar beach (2 hours away by car rolleyes), knew almost nothing about any possible subject aside from pop culture T.V. references, and had this ridiculous colloqual accent that made me want to die laughing every 2 minutes. My buddy got the hot chick, but even she had crispy redneck hair. The blowjob was good though. shrug

Oh, and this other time, the one very rare time I went on a blind date, the girl I went with was an avid football fan, and loved talking about her favorite team, "The Patriots." Our coversation was.....less than stellar. Also, apparantly she went to Regis, a salon across the mall from the one I went to at the time (Toni & Guy), yet she still had a hairdo that looked like something you get from Supercuts. That shit was a no-repeater.

In general I think dates are awkward unless it's a date with a friend or someone I know very well already.

Why did you stop posting on the org? Was it Quaidbowl that did it? Do you hate 2the9s? He's a very, very, bad man!
