I've done something like this just for the hell of it. So I guess I'm biased in saying I don't think it's sad or anything. I mean if they go preaching this shit to little kids, sure. But bullshitting and forming dark theories based on kids shows possibly while drinking with friends in a dank basement...so what? | |

Uuuhhhh, sorry, but I don't believe in that theory...

yeah I've gotten to the point where I'm afraid if I push myself too far I'll wake up behind a dumpster arguing with myself over the quantum state of Schroedinger's Cat... loudly...
I have too much credit debt responsibility to go out like that... A working class Hero is something to be ~ Lennon |

Gunsnhalen said: So your saying people shouldn't expand there imagination and interpritations just because it's a kids show
We are all adults now, and have different outlook's on thing's. Many kid's show have a lot deeper meanings then what is presented at eye level.
There is a banned episode from the powerpuff girls that is almost blatently about communism. I agree and I think that for the creators of these shows, having more complex origins and back stories would be quite an enjoyable and stimulating springboard to work off and create interesting characters from. I don't necessarily believe that the original post is true, but I do believe that the original premise and characters of many childrens shows would have started off as something alot different than what we perceive from watching the finished product. Which is kind of weird to think about at first... so i understand some peoples wtf reactions
But yes i think a lot of cartoon show's come from personal thing's in the creators life. Someone recently was telling me he think's Seth Mcfarlin has issues with his sister, cause in his shows the sister is the outkast/not pretty Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener
