Well, i blame that on media, record companies and the era... I dont think it was dishonest so much as misleading, being pressured to be something he wasnt to sell records... Those in his circle knew what he was...

True, it was obviously to sell records to teenage girls, Boy george also had a lot of teenage girl fans, even though they knew he was gay. If you were to swap places with him, you would be stoned most of the time!

I was thinking about you today Tina when I read that in his comeback concert in the Prague State Opera he covered a song of my favourite artist Terence Trent D'Arby and praised him as "one of the most talented people on earth" and accused record companies of destroying TTD's career. I remember vaguely that he already had covered him live before, so he sure has great taste in music .
