Say yes to the dress

So is it just me or does anyone else thinks its INSANE that some of these women pay $5000.00 and UP for a wedding dress???

I saw a show where this one chick spent $70,000.00 on her wedding, then was trying to win a contest because they couldnt afford a honeymoon... neutral CRAZY!

My entire wedding cost less than my best friends wedding veil

that's LESS than 600$

I find it insane to spend so much on a wedding / dress / event ~

I saw that the other day. That was a show called Four Weddings and her wedding won, so... lol

I personally wouldn't spend that much on a dress unless nothing looked good on me but a more expensive dress. Other than that I wouldn't do it even if I did have the money.

Nutty as hell.

I plan either to make my own dress, or rent one. I'm only wearing it once...

It is totally insane. The first time I got married, I paid $700 for my dress and I thought that was expensive. It was also on sale. It is now boxed up and stored. The second time, I got maried, I bought a suit and wore it other places. My niece even wore it for her graduation recently.

a friend of mine makes wedding dresses for 20K up. he recently decided to do a 'cheap' range of 5K for the customers that were going elsewhere lol

he's got dresses up to $40 000 for sale. beautiful man. i've known him for 25 years.

he takes me for rides in his merc sports and treats me to dinner of the finest cuisine.
