New romantic comedy/drama flick starring Paula Patton, Angela Bassett, Mike Epps and Loretta Devine.

Nothing profound, but it was pretty funny with good acting, especially Mike Epps. Paula Patton was surprisingly a little off but still an enjoyable movie.

Has anyone else seen it?

Haven't seen it, will wait til it comes on cable. I don't think Paula can act at all. It's like she acts with her teeth or something

Saw it over the weekend and truely enjoyed the movie. Go see it!!

She's just kinda forgettable, ya know? I certainly wouldn't have cast her in the leading role.

Very good family movie though. Plenty of laughs, decent drama and a couple of plot twists. Mike Epps tickles the hell outta me.

Chile I thought I was the only one who felt this way. She's not a strong actress at all. I'd pick Gabrielle Union over her and I don't even like Gabrielle as an actress either.

Next weekend, another wedding comedy, Bridesmaids, opens.

Paula rubs me the wrong way

Horrible tripe from that bogus TD Jakes. Angela Bassett is too good for this kind of live action cartoon.

I have not seen it yet. I will get the DVD. I expect to like this movie.

it was cute. paula patton ruined it for me tho. she's like the black rachel ray - her voice alone killed it for me.

It looks like most agree that Patton is the weak link. Other than that it was good fun.
