I loved that show - mostly because I actually worked in radio news, at one time.

I knew all those characters. lol

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that show! And so realistcally a radio station. The big idiot jerk general manager looking for ways to make a buck, the diva star (phil Hartman's character) and the slacker engineer. I LOVE that show! It was so sad for Phil Hartman's unfortunate early exit.

I've also known all the characters in Caddyshack and Animal House. My life has not been dull. lol

Stephen Root was incredible on that show. The 2 storylines that spring to mind:

1. Jimmy James running for president using "Life's Been Good" as his campaign theme song.

2. Bill's crusade against rap music that came to an abrupt end when Chuck D walked into the studio, prompting Bill to segue into . . . "the rhythm the rebel! Chuck D!" I miss Phil.
