I was glad to see Ruffalo get a supporting actor nomination (not that I think he will win). Even though I was let down by that movie, I thought he deserved one. I was also glad to see "teardrop" from Winter's Bone get one.

Is The Kids Are Alright on dvd yet? That and the Fighter are the only ones left I need to see.

I'm gonna have to try to see Biutiful and Winter's Bone, maybe. MAYBE 127 hours, but doubtful.

I havent heard of most of them and have only seen one of them...

I keep reading Mila Kunis was "snubbed" but quite frankly I was surprised she was nominated for the Globes in the first place. I thought she was great and sexy but it never crossed my mind during that whole movie (which I loved everything about) that her performance was award-worthy.

I'd like to try and see some of the docs as well. I have Restrepo and Exit Through the Gift Shop both on my Netflix.

I should try to get to the theater and see True Grit.

Oddly enough, I have not an ounce of interest in The Social Network (which will probably win).

I've been so busy with my play, I haven't seen The King's Speech yet.

I really want Jennifer Lawrence to win. She was amazing. But I'll be almost equally happy if Michelle Williams gets it, because she is probably the best American actress of her generation, and she deserves to be recognized. For actor, I'm pretty sure it's Colin Firth's year.

I think it's a shame Nolan wasn't nominated for director, mostly because I think he deserves it for directing that movie, which entailed a huge vision. But I don't think Inception was the best picture by any means, so I'd much rather have it not be nominated in that category.

It bugs me when good films get overblown. Inception was that way to me too; awesome visuals and a visionary step in many ways, but it was a full-on mess o' gobbledygook as far as story goes. And why reward that?

For once, the Oscar committee gets it right. That was a masterful performance by Cage.

If Jeff Bridges wins the Oscar, then the Academy deserves to die. John Wayne did the same role BETTER... (and I don't like John Wayne and I think that many times his acting was pretty random, but boy, he nailed it on the original True Grit)

anyway, 2011 Oscars = I hope Toy Story 3 wins it all, and that's about it
