What's your most favourite feeling?

Is it anger? Happiness? Love?

I'm in love with nostalgia. You know, just listen to your favourite song from youth, thinking about good times, how there was nothing to be bothered with.

Silly thread, I know. But I'm trying to not sound whiny and hurt others.

I used to be nostalgic too, but now I'm way too old to even remember my youth. lol

But I like all kinds of happy feelings.

I love the feeling I have when I read something or hear something awesome and want to show it to someone else. I get all excited and enthusiastic lol

sharing it is always a disappointment, so I usually keep it to myself nod

Yeah I kind of get lost in nostalgia often. Sometimes a little too much. I have a pretty good memory which makes it even easier to do so.

Nostalgia is an amazing feeling; although it can sometimes bring an air of sadness, for the good times that have passed and you cannot relive.

My favorite feeling is a silly one; the feeling when I get my hands on a vinyl that I've anticipated owning. The smell of old age and attic, the courseness of the paper, the old photography...

That's a nice feeling nod I love to buy a very anticipated cd, read the booklet and play those songs for the first time.

The funny thing though is, I never realize how happy I am at some moment until later when I think back about it.

Laughing. I love funny things that make me laugh. It's the greatest feeling in the world to me. smile

The last good, long laugh session I had was while watching "The Expendables" for the first time yesterday. It was excellent, LOL. lol

Not necessarily miserable. But to some extent you're right.

I'm happy now, but your thread just made me remember how happier I was one my friends were visiting earlier this month.

My thread made you feel nostalgic.

I love laughing until I cry lol

I also love fleeting joy, a feeling I only get when I'm in my car, driving by myself with my favourite CD on cool

My favorite is probably a pronounced feeling of security -- when nothing important to me feels threatened or immediately challenged; no haters, whiners or deadlines looming; no squeeze on merely surviving. Enjoying that beyond, say, age 18 seems as rare as seeing a unicorn anymore, though, so if I were pressed to name a feeling of which I have any hint of still existing, I'd say my favorite is discovery/adventure -- encountering ideas, things, places and people new to me and adding them to my cache of experiences like a piece of some big mosaic.

I feel secure fairly often these days. I wouldn't say alll the time, but, in particular, when cuddled up on the couch inside a warm house with my bf's arm around me I feel utterly safe and comfortable. (OK, I know that's super cheesy, but it's true. redface )

Another great feeling for me is the sense of accomplishment when creating something, especially something I haven't before. For me, most often, this comes from cooking. I love the entire process of turning raw ingredients into something more than the sum of their parts. And if it tastes amazing, well, WOW.

And lastly, I love learning new things. Knowing I have mastered something. When I was in Bangkok, my first day was incredibly overwhelming. I had no idea how I was going to get around the city by myself, everything was confusing, I couldn't read or understand anyone or anything, etc. Within a few days I'd mastered the trains and subway stuff and eventually I was even leading Dan and Fauxie around. lol And by my last week there I could order food passably in a restaurant! I LOVE that kind of thing.

For me it's that feeling you get when you get the giggles and your in a place where you're not supposed to laugh. I know it's embarrassing sometimes but that giddiness is amazing.

Calm. The kind of calm where there is nothing on your mind - no anxiety, no worries, nothing to do - the entire world has just sloooowed doooown and you can feel that your muscles have relaxed. Almost a zen, meditative calm, I guess. I can't get there very often, and when I do it's usually near the water (bay/ocean).

I regularly wallow in Nostalgia, but its very bad for me. It always leaves me feeling melancholy.

I would have to say my favorite feeling is peace. Earlier today I was lying in the backyard, the feeling of the grass on my face, the sound of birds, the hot sun on me. Everything was peaceful and had its place.

couldn't it also be, or, isn't it possible it's not synchronicity, but kismet, which to me has a brighter magical glow?
