The rep from McDonald's is talking about government approved ingredients in the bun. Like the government gives a damn about us killing ourselves.

Wait... what happened twenty years ago, then? I'm totally confused by your statement.

Her whole response had a solid "company (wo)man" vibe. I especially liked her "wouldn't look like that after a year" slip when it's only been six months. So, what, you've tested it and know it's going to break down during the ninth month?

She was in some ridiculous movie with Chazz Palmintieri where she plays a redheaded rich bitch that he takes hostage in her home. He yells at her for not having any fucking whole wheat bread.
I watched it on cable when I was home sick one day, and I enjoyed it.

I don´t see any ketchup, mustard or pickle on that burger. I guess it would be a whole different situation if those ingredients were on that burger, too. As far as the bun and the patty are concerned, I´´m not really surprised because both are pretty dry, and dry stuff, especially with salt and chemical preservatives, doesn´t really develop mold that easily.
I´m starting to sound like a McDonald´s spokesperson here. I don´t like Mc Donald´s and their bland "food" but I also don´t like false propaganda against McD´s eversince I watched Morgan Spurlock´s "Supersize Me" and later discovered how manipulative that movie was....so, I take every bad (and good) news about fast food franchises with a grain of salt. They´re bad, but not as bad as people say they are...at least not over here. I find the way they treat animals unethical but as far as health is concerned, it´s up to the individual to make the right choice. Not all McD products are bad. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

In the stomach, they only last a couple of hours...

imagine if 6 months later…
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
no really, it's curious how they last for more than 6 months , but once you eat them, they fuckin' disappear in the stomach in just 60-90 minutes...
in fact, these hamburgers are not useful when I'm really hungry or when I need energy for 6-7 hours...
I wonder why... | |

because they are so highly refined? that answers both questions actually!

if it's as simple as it can be, like carbohydrates and whatever, your body can break it down FAST and I'm thinking there's nothing much there that is left with fungal spores and bacteria after it's been processed THAT much
I'm no scientist!!! | |

I'm impressed
anyway, is highly refined meat healthy or not? I mean, during the nuclear era (49-65) highly refined meat that could last for more than 10 months was supposed to be necessary and useful

in terms of health I don't think it is, the faster it is to digest the faster your blood sugar rises and that is BAD
" High Glycemic Index foods (such as simple carbohydrates) will increase the body’s sugar levels rapidly whereas low glycemic index foods will increase the body’s sugar levels slowly."
"A food with a high glycemic index breaks down very easily to simple sugars, rapidly raising (or "spiking") blood glucose levels and demanding an equally quick enzyme and insulin response from the pancreas so that the sugars can be metabolized and stored. Over time, consumption of a lot of high glycemic foods stresses the pancreas and the immune system, and can cause the blood sugar highs and lows endemic to diabetes and hypoglycemia. Foods which are low glycemic, on the other hand, contain carbs that break down more slowly to simple sugars. The absorption of these foods is therefore more gradual and does not contribute to blood sugar highs and lows. High glycemic foods:
