Anybody else ever have a Sega Mega-CD? I had the earliest version that the Megadrive slotted on top of, like this:

I also had an Amstrad GX4000. lol

If I remember, we had it for a REALLY brief time but my mom sent it back to my dad who was in Italy on duty at the time

It was crap. lol Only decent game was Final Fight (second one, if I remember correctly). Other games we bought had incredible graphics for the time but weren't really games at all. One was a helicopter shooter type game where you were prompted to go left, up, shoot or whatever.

MY COUSIN WORKS IN A PHARMACY AND SHE SAID THEY ENEMA'D PRANCE INTO OBLIVION WITH FENTONILS!!

I've been wanting to play Chrono Trigger on the SNES for some time now but it's pretty expensive. I might just get the DS port of it instead because I found out you can't save neutral

They really need to bring it to the Wii Virtual Console or whatever and XBOX Live. And whatever the PS3 counterpart is.

I mean damn, the Wii has like 3 Final Fantasy's available and the PS3 has a couple itself. Why not Chrono Trigger?

Because Nintendo/Square would rather have you pay 30 bucks for the DS port than 8 bucks for emulated one on VC.

I still play pokemon. I play warcraft. And I'm awesome.

Perhaps, by why make some of the Final Fantasy titles available on VC when they are on the DS?

Completely different products now. The DS Final Fantasy games are remakes with upgraded 3D graphics.

Did ANYONE even have a 3DO. I was really young when they came out but I clearly remember reading about them in Electronic Gaming Monthly and Gamepro (along with the Atari Jaguar)

never had one, probably because those damn things were like 700 dollars when they came out. Read a lot about them though.

Jaguar never appealed to me. For what it claimed to be, it almost looked like a step backward.

Yeah, I heard the Jaguar was nothing to call home about. EGM barely dedicated a page to it back then lol

the Neo Geo Pocket

[img:$uid]http://www.gameclassification.com/files/machines/neogeo-pocket-color.jpg[/img:$uid]

this was WAY better than the Game Boy Advance and I think it came out a year or 2 before. My cousin had one and I remember us wasting away while playing King of Fighters lol

It came on Wednesday. It works great, although the audio for the SNES part is pretty quiet

I got that Retron 3 system about a month ago.......and it's AWESOME! biggrin

It's really light but that's expected because it's more firmware than hardware

one problem: the sound on the Super Nintendo port is horrible. It's insanely quiet

but the Sega port is cool and I haven't checked out the NES port yet as I don't have any games at the moment

Are the graphics on the Xbox set any different or enhanced?

Not that I've noticed. You just have to not mind playing with a "window inside a window" effect. I guess widescreen TVs weren't around back then so it has to be done.
