"If I see 11, U can say it's 7" , The 7th Babble Thread This is crazy , I went to start this thread and knew I would write the #7. And guess what it said on my discussion topic page? It says Welcome to "the org" Deadflow3r.... if I see 11, Ucan say it's 7". Is that a coincidence or is this babble thread going to be a lucky 7 one? (I Wish YOU Heaven is also one of my very favorite songs).
ZombieKitten, I am going to get serious here, I think maybe sleepytime tea might calm your child down a bit. Maybe. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

Okay, I appreciate you getting "gangsta" & "pumped up" and whatnot over that situation but there was really no need to. I mean I know you're upset because he's married but when did I become your girl?! surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water

Do you mean my coughing/puking child? He IS calm, it's just his throat is itching and it triggers his gag reflex. He is lying in my bed drawing right now. I'm keeping the coughs away with warm lemon drinks which he loves he is good for snuggling right now!

My son does the same thing!!! A big hug to your boy. I have been cleaning up vomit almost every night this month... I hope he stops with this nagging cough. We do the warm giner ale here.

as soon as he starts coughing I tell him to take a sip of warm water the warm keeps a spasm from starting. a month! Max started on Saturday, has puked 3 times since then but he has a basin next to his bed, and the floor is covered by a towel. So far he's not missed

He's been coughing like that for a month... but the vomiting doesn't always happen. Thank goodness. Great idea for warm liquids, I will try that! TY!!!
I think this is an enviornmental allergy thing.... what do you think?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I read this morning that this kind of thing can be really prolonged, since after a virus you may have a heightened sensitivity for some time (to irritants like dust, pollens etc) if he has a runny nose, it's going down past the throat causing a constant irritation there

I was the same way for three weeks. It is just what you describe. And yes, on my street there was recent construction and two blocks away buildings are being torn down, so we basically live in an a construction zone... not to mention that it is fall here, and allergy season.
I hope your boy doesn't suffer long at all.

that sucks at least here the temperature should be improving as we move into spring. Yesterday was glorious and warm and me and my guys lay out on the trampoline in the sun talking shit for hours no coughing during the day, but in the evening when it gets cooler it starts. I'm keeping the house extra warm for him

What is a babble thread about? Is it like those free for all threads where you can talk about what you want (forgot what it was called)? --> Well, I didn't think I would cry watching "La Bamba" again, but I did, then watching the making, with the real brother crying when he was remembering his brother...... RITCHIE!!!!
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
it's for general discussion within General Discussion, basically.
I use it when I want to say something that I don't think would catch on as it's own thread. For example I just fixed my long broken computer and I can now get to all my old pictures I was worried I might lose.
Now how many people would really care about a thread like that?
But thankfully, we have a Babble Thread.

I'm a frequent poster in these types of threads.

That's cool, my unnecessary explanation at least let me throw that computer bit out there. I'm quite happy about it.
