I used it once some years ago even though it was pretty much impossible anyway I could have gotten pregnant. And I even took one with me when I was living abroad recently just in case a condom might break and it migth be diffficult to get it there.

No not at all. I was worried it would as it was christmas and I went to my family's christmas celebration that afternoon and didn't exactly want to explain to them the reason why I migth not feel good . Especially as my parents "made" me on christmas too .

I think if someone has had one that they would take it seriously enough that they wouldnt want to come on a forum bored boasting that they killed a child... yes, thats just my opinion, but I believe this is to personal of a matter for general discussion... It a sad sad state of mind when one can just say things like, Yeah, ive paid for a few, without any sort of remorse...

when I was 20, I was dating an 18 year old high school senior...when we found out she was pregnant, the decision was immediate between her & her family that she would have an abortion...and although I wanted to keep the baby, I had no say so at all...the only say I had in the matter was how I was gonna pay for it...it's a time of my life that still haunts me and that I'm reminded of often...I stay away from abortion debates because those get pretty personal...and usually the people involved have no attachment to the issue outside of their opinion...but I wanted my child but was never given that chance...that kills me...

I'm amazed at how flippant some folks, like the op, are about it...

tafnap, i'm not directing this all at you, because I don't know enough about the situations to make comment... but it seems to me that there are far too many people who use abortion as a form of birth control. There are a whole bunch of things available in this day and age to prevent unwanted pregnancies.
