If you have an iPhone

Have you installed 4.0 yet? If so, thoughts? Which iPhone do you have?

After seeing a demonstration of how flash seems to slow down android phones, I'm starting to see the light of day in Apple's decision not to support flash.

I'm still not crazy about it but I understand.

I'm probably going to break down shortly and get an iPhone. I love them

P.S. I've got a 3GS, now in 4.0Land, and I'm diggin' it. Just waitin' for Pocket Tunes to release their can-play-in-the-background update! dancing jig

Connect yer iP to yer computer. Open iTunes. Select your iP. You'll see a button like 'Click to check for updates'.

I haven't yet but will now. Thanks for the tip.

I've cracked my screen (twice, actually). Bummer, but there's a place in Houston that will replace it for $75. I'm going to get that done Thursday, then buy the thickest rubber condom....er, case I can find to make up for my fumble hands.

How did it crack? Just from dropping it? I've dropped mine several times and no cracks.

I downloaded OS4. I really do like the folders, multi-tasking, and the new camera zoom. Oh, the wallpaper though minor is a nice touch!

Yeah, drops. I dropped mine a bunch without it cracking, and got so confident that when my first rubber case broke, I didn't even get a new case.

Most of the time when I dropped it, I could break its fall with my feet. But one time...crack.

The second time it cracked, I had a hardshell plastic case on it but when it hit the ground face down...crack.

But both cracks are in places that don't much affect the viewing of the screen, luckily.

I have a 3G and may get the 4G when at&t "says" I may upgrade and pay the discounted price. It's kinda cool. I use Facebook and Twitter a lot. I also find myself using Google and Wikipedia a bit too. All in all, it's a nice lil upgrade on the phone.

When the new 4.0 hits the stores I wanna check it out and see what the big deal is. I was just about to close my at&t service because of a crazy ass bill they sent me when I bundled everything: at&t, home phone, internet and u-verse ...

Peace ... & Stay Funky ...

The new update that includes "Flash", has not slow down by Andriod. Not in the least.

I saw one of the commenters said he had a 3G, which is what I have, and iOS 4 slowed his phone down a lot. Anyone know anything about how iOS4 runs on a 3G?

From apple.com:

Compatibility

iOS 4 works with iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 3G. Not all features are compatible with all devices. For example, multitasking is available only with iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS.

Right, I got that. I was worried about the speed, though. And dang it - I can't figure how to get MY text out of YOUR box!
