How often do you change your hairstyle?

I had my hair cut today, but it dawned on me as I left the salon that I've had variations of the same style for the last 8 years or so and though I'm getting a bit bored, I'm always too chicken to take a leap and have something different done

So tell me, how often do you change your 'do'?
I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

C'mon and dance while you, while you still have your cherry babe, cherry babe..

All the above in the same year.

Also:

Right now my 'style' is a conservative 'Korean cut' that I can make look professional as I need, abut shag it out when I want to.

I miss having an American stylist though because I all the first three haircuts above, I didn't pick out myself. I just walked in and let my stylist do whatever he wanted--it was fun and stress free.

Every 6 months or so. I get bored easily with my hair. And i tend to go for drastic changes too.

I used to work at a salon and loved it - my hair changed every few weeks and the guy who cut my hair was awesome.
Since I had kids, I tend to keep it more simple, and I don't do highlights anymore - I hate having to get my roots done.

I'm waiting for my hair to grow another couple of inches then i'll get it done again. I know what I want... but i'm getting impatient with the waiting...

Funny you should ask. I'm getting a major style change tonight. nod

But even when I don't go for a major overhaul, I'm tweaking the style constantly. More fringe, less fringe, asymmetrical fringe. Slightly longer, slightly shorter. Connected, disconnected.

It's never the same cut twice.

Not often. It's either straight or curly. Either down or in a side ponytail. I've done more with the color though. I think I've had every color except for platinum blonde which will surely make me bald if I ever try it.

It used to be every day, I used to care about it more than me mum. I'd spend hours and hours on it, staring into the mirror, knackering my eyes, spraying all sorts of shit, combs, tweaks, Diet Lilt (best for blonde hair), 300 watt blowdryers, bootpolish, all in a Herculean effort to look as fantastic as I possibly could. I wanted to burn like a supernova anywhere I went. I wanted my physical presence to mirror my mind. Lips and hair. Knife-mouthed hetero selfslut. Boy girl space creature. I sucked on hate.
I was, without doubt, mentally ill. I'm fine now. I've been shaving it all off for the past few months and I'm actually beginning to realise other people actually have insights to share on existence. Turning 30 twisted my head. I'd peaked. i didn't want to be chasing fantastic. Now I want to make myself as ugly as possible. Beat them before they beat me. Time is a motherfucker.

Don't believe him.

Not about being Scottish, that part's true. But that delightful motherfucker is still mentally ill.

I've been growing my hair out for years now. At this point it doesn't change much, just gets longer and more layered.

For a time I had dreadlocks, and then extremely short blue hair after that.

But yeah, I get it cut once or twice per year, just to clean up the ends and such. That's it. smile

Yep, I used to put plastic bags over my hair with holes in, tease out some strips, spray with sun-in and then blast the fuck out it with a hair-dryer.

That done, I would use a can of hairspray to put it up into a quiff and I would refuse to go out if the weather was being uncooperative.

Now I just get a number 0.5 all over lol

We all land there eventually, honey. I am proud to say that I kicked MOR in the nads last night in favor of fierce. We'll see how long it lasts.
