MY POP IS STALE! and other complaints

This here's the thread to bitch about the little things. Nothing worth fussing too much over, just the tiny grievances you might encounter throughout the day.

Me? My just-bought-3-days-ago-but-kept-in-the-fridge-ginger ale is flat. mad

I have to go to the bank because I owe my crazynuts landlord 45$ and have no cash on me, but I don't want to go outside. It's pissing down rain with a vengeance!

it's not little, pretty major (to me).
I was given a ring recently:

And I love that ring. LOVE.

Today - I stupidly left it in the public washroom at school.
Walked away. Remembered I didn't have it on. Ran back.

It was gone.

I went all over the school. Disrupted classes. Spoke to the lost and found, front desk and security.

Nothing.

I've been crying most of the afternoon...

It meant a lot to me.

I can't believe I lacked the mental capacity to remember it...

Absolutely heartbroken.

My CD burner wasn't working, so I took my laptop to the Apple store. They fixed it in an hour... When I got home, the damn thing kept cutting off. crash
I called, took it back, and it turns out the didn't connect everything when they replaced the burner. I spent another hour and a half waiting for them to figure it out.

It's fine now, though. biggrin

so i work at the local library. i was fixing the spanish language section. it took me like two hours, get so out order and i fix it as precise as i can or else i get in trouble. then i go to break, which is fifteen minutes long and i return to see if its in order and to my surprise. most of the books on the floor, some stuff into crevices, others put in backwards, children books in their, dvd's in their...i nearly screamed, but i contained myself. i love working at the library but some people are just careless, some people saw me organizing, but do they try to be helpful, no they just place the book whether they damn please! and to the other patrons please its a library, so don't have your fucking children running around screaming, do not scream into your cellphone, do not yell, "the computer ain't working" its a library!!! i love my job, its just some aspects are not enjoyable. btw, i shelve books, which is not bad, its just its very tedious work, but at the end..i feel good.
