Right after Michael, Jason, & Freddy, should Chucky OR Jaws get a reboot/remake as well? If it was up to me, I'll vote yay for Jaws. But I'll also hired Mel Gibson to be the hunter in the personal feud with the shark itself.
As for Chucky, I'll vote nay. These days, little boys are more likely to play on the Wii OR the Xbox 360 game console than to play with boy dolls. Therefore, a remake of Child's Play is pointless.

Bringing some elements of the first 3 Jaws films together is the way to go. [Edited 4/12/10 7:44am]

Nahhh you can't remake Jaws!! It would be like getting Rolf Harris to reproduce the Mona Lisa (Actually Rolf Harris rocks as a painter but yeah anyway ) What you don't remember never happened

So yeah, REMAKE it. As for Chucky, I dont think we need anymore. The last one was "Seed of Chucky" right? just leave it at that. I do want to see a remake of "Hellraiser" though and I'm looking forward to the "Nightmare on elm street" remake as well.

I thought they were just remaking the pish ones or ones which would benefit from today's technologies.
Jaws should be left well alone.....

In fairness, I'm more of a fan of Jaws 3 (as an awesomely bad film that is fun to watch for one-liners! ) than the 1st Jaws. But make no mistake, the 1st Jaws was more of a classic thriller than horror.

..and it had a great cast. You can't recreate the chemistry Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss and Roy Scheider had. Enough with the damn remakes already! What's next, The Godfather?

Back in the day that was some fine film work! I even got to goto universal studios and had a jaws jump at us from the water I watch alot of movies I thought were good back then and think "how cheesy" now... ~~~~~ Oh that voice...incredible....there should be a musical instrument called George Michael... ~~~~~

I'm sure many will argue that it was dumb from the start, but I really do like the first 3 parts. LOL. No voice could ever compete with the original. After I saw the images of the new Pinhead, I became uninterested in the new Hellraiser. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Chucky is dead and should stay dead. The first one was scary and the others were all crap. Once you see how the puppeteering and midget stand in works, you're no longer impressed.

I think Candyman was a superior horror film to either of those. I'd rather see that remade first.

I think Child's Play is being remade "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

The movie studios are running out of ideas and are looking for the cheapest way to make a buck. Since teen audiences are on the rise and their tastes are virtually non-existent, remakes of campy 80s horror flicks is the way to go.
