Huge snow storm in NY took me an hour to get home from work, and I live 5 minutes away.
you'ld think my boss woulda let us go home early to get home safe. lots of big tree branches down...and the stupid snow plows plowed in the driveway. stupid snow  | |

Nice weather here. It was a warm day today. The snow is melting but that does not mean winter will have it's last roar.

My office decided to close today so I got a snow day! (4 out of my last 5 weeks have been 4 day work-weeks because of snow or holidays.  ) The news said there was 16.9" of snow in Central Park this morning, with at least 5-7 more inches expected by the end of the weekend.
Here is the table on my balcony:  The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp. | |

You know it's bad when the city shuts down. I lived up there 10 years ago when we had all those blizzards and I remember when my car got stuck in a drift right around the corner from the house LOL. I remember going to work in my little car so we could close up properly and some bitch trying to cuss us out because we made her get in her Explorer to pick up her property. Good thing my manager was there because bitch almost got blasted on.
That should have been one of my first clues that I couldn't deal with massive ignorance from people...  | |
