MEMORY FOAM MATRESSESSES

Just got one, but i think it's giving me really weird dreams. Comfy as a big girl's womb, but I'm reading a lot on the internet about the chemicals giving you cancer and other horrible things. You needs quality sleep, and you also need to die. I've decided I'm losing nothing I'm not going to lose anyway, so I'm keeping it.
Has anyone else has odd experiences with these contraptions? Not sexual one - I'm really not interested in your willies or fannies.

As for the topic, I've never slept on one. Nor a big girl's womb, for that matter.

we got a memory foam mattress a few months ago. they're very comfortable, surpringly so even for people with bad backs. They reflext back heat, so if someone doesn't like to be overly warm during the night, it might not be a good choice.

haven't heard one word about potential carcinogenicity. what isn't carcinogenic these days?

I had a thick memory foam mattress topper that was soooo comfortable, but I had to get rid of it b/c they hold heat and I would wake up sweating. disbelief

This is a real text from a friend who got one:

OMFG! I went to church (what we call IKEA) today & bought a memory foam mattress. I'm never getting up again.
Seriously.
Brownie's (her dog) not moving either. We may need to call an ambulance or something.

It's not everyday you hear a guy throw around a word like "carcinogenicity." That's hot. sexy

I don't own one, but there was one in a hotel room I had last summer. Best nights of sleep I had in years.

Eww....I hate being hot while trying to sleep. I'm glad I decided against it, but the main reason was I read where people had a hard time getting up from it. They said people were sinking down in it and that it takes a while to spring back to it's normal shape. I know that the one I was looking at takes 24 hours to spring to regular size after you open it. I haven't had problems with my foam pillow though. It's pretty comfortable.

I have a memory foam topper - it does hold the heat and I hate being hot so I use Egyptian cotton sheets - I find this counteracts the problem.
