Obama's brother releases new book President Obama's brother just released a semi-autobiographic novel. I had no clue that their father was an abuser, "After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill...the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill...you stay in wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes."

I had no idea he had another brother, other than the one in Kenya. Interesting. Let's see how the media junkies in the U.S. will handle this. Education, the greatest weapon

It's not like Barack's step brothers or his father grew up with him.

I'm not interested in his blood relationship to Obama, rather than his story as an artist, an abuse survivor, and someone using his gift to teach children. This falls into the documentary style of global human interest story I usually favor. If there was a primary focus on his work as pianist and the use of his talent to influence younger lives, it would be a great premise for a story, say, on an arts channel like "Arte" .

I agree that would be an interesting angle. I haven't seen any reviews yet, but he was on Cnn describing the book as a journey of self discovery of an abuse survivor. I found out about it because I happened to be watching Larry King while I was waiting for the health care vote and he bears a striking resemblance to Barack even down to the mannerisms and the speech impediment. It will be interesting to note the differences and similarities between the son who knew the father and the one who didn't. "After this, there is no turning back. If I recall Barack mentioned him in Dreams For My Father. The way he spoke on Larry King, the Prez was lucky not to have that guy in his life. He broke down more than once during the interview.
