It's not a "men" thing, it's a HUMAN thing, coupled w/ evil. In a world that "celebrates diversity", everyone has become a clone, and feelings are mass produced in a process of brain-washing the people into believing whatever they'll eat up. Humanity has gotten lost in the haze of self-help books, and 8 minute fixes. Yet silently, while we all look like "we're just being ourselves" on the outside, trouble is brewing inside. For me men going off the deep end is usually low intelligence + testosterone + anger = violence (throw in substance abuse and no education and you have disaster) or any combinations of the above. Sociopaths 1 in 27. women doing stuff is less about anger or testosterone low intelligence, substance abuse, psychosis (which is can be pretty fucking horrific, but not "evil") being in co-dependent relationships - ie ebablers. I don't believe in evil - these folks are simply incapable and incomplete IMO not in full capacity intellectually or morally. When I was 16, I fully expected to be able to build my own KITT car.

for economic reasons perhaps?... There are plenty of women of low-income background who stay with their partners because they couldn't make it on their own and can't afford to leave in the first place.
