OMG...I think we are totally on the same page on this one. I dont have to like somebody to respect them. So, if someone is just being fake, and if they are pressing my nerves by pretending they want the best for me, I tell them straight up "I dont like you and I would appreciate if you would stop trying so hard to be around me." If they are shocked, I dont give a shit...i say it sweetly with a smile. Most of the time when people are like that, they are only hanging around because they want to be in position to make things worse for your should something unfortunate happen. As soon as I recognize people like that, I cut them off quick.

well I'm one of those honest and bothered types. I'm probably a bit misanthropic (okay more than a bit). And I'm just the type to tell it to someone and I'll try to be bnice at first but I notice that people like that like to stay in your face.

I also have to deal with a kid like that, so it's not always something I can get away from.
