I bought a book of names when I was having my second... Now that we have internet you can probably google something like it... But I personally LOVE Isabelle!

we have books and googled and googled names and we cant make up our minds mind you we didn't know the name of our son until he was a couple of days old. We named our first born on the day we knew when found out she was a girl!

Internet is your friend, as are traditional baby name books.

Do you have any friends or family members whose names you like and wouldn't mind or be honoured by you borrowing their name?

Do you have any favourite authors/artists/performers?

What about taking the name from a fictional character or historical figure you enjoy or admire?

How about nature names? Those can work especially well on girls.

Of the choices you have posted here, I'd definitely go for Lucy(or Lucille!)

Well congradulations to you both!! Sometimes parents just have to meet their new baby to pick their name.. So you get a "feel" for it if you know what i mean...

our criteria for the name choice was it had to be OK in swedish, spanish and english (inez wouldn't have passed the cut)

we almost named our second daughter isabelle.
i love that name.
she just didn't look like an isabelle, so we named her Sara.

Isabelle. It's a great name.

We named our daughter sarah, but we spell it with an "h" at the end

Though it's actually quite a beautiful name, org history has shown that only compromised people -- like really compromised people -- name their daughters "Lucy." wacky

I like it.

Pronounced (KAY dens)

Cadence means flow or rhythm as applied to language, music, or movement. In music, a cadence is a sequence of notes which indicates the end of a phrase. In the military, a cadence is a chant performed while marching or drilling. This noun has recently become popular as a girl's name.

or take a name from her side of the family and one from yours and put the two together.

It's clearly hard enough if they've got to the baby naming stage smile

besides, if you think naming thems hard, wait fir the raising, keeping out of trouble and picking the right cereal stage....

My tip is don't pick something that can be shortened to an embarassing consequence

Pick something you can scream at the top of your voice when bollocking them
