I can start to hear something just before the 17 khz mark.

OK what the hell am I doing wrong? I'm hearing it the whole way through the countdown from 22 onwards....am I not supposed to do this?

Does it say the frequency before or after it plays that pitch?

I think the announcer says the frequency before it plays.
