the body image thread

Most people have something about their body that they're not totally thrilled with. So here's my challenge to you. For every thing about your body you don't like, try to think of two things you love and why those parts are so awesome. Post them here, or just keep them in mind.

And....GO!

I like my eyes, but they’re shaped slightly differently and that bugs me.

I like my hair, but that’s mostly due to having a skillful stylist.

And that’s about all I can come up with.

as far as things that I actually have control over, I think I've got great arms and legs...especially my calves...I've always had larger than average legs and they tend to get lots of attention...

I'll embrace these two positive aspects of my body in exchange for the flat stomach or washboard abs that I'll never, ever have....

Eh. The body’s just a vehicle. I think I’m a pretty awesome person, all things considered. So I suppose I love my mind most of all. My kidneys appear to function well and my lungs haven’t given up on me after the years of abuse I put them through. Ditto for my ear drums.

As for the “outside”, I have been working to improve what I can and I have good days and bad days where I feel better or worse about the current state of affairs but I’m not sure I’ll ever really “love” my body.

I really dislike my feet, but I have great legs and a great ass.

I'm ok with how I look for the most part, but I've always disliked my legs....they're all short and thick I don't like my stomach either, but that can be worked on. I'm just lazy


What I do like are my large, dark eyes. They're a lovely shape. I like my overall body shape very much My hair is long,thick, and wavy And I've got awesome boobs

hmmm.
I'm not fond of my biggass nostrils. And my skin broke out in pimples last year, which have mostly gone away this year. My skin's been a real problem this last 3 years, and I think it's linked to the weight I'd gained 2-3 years ago. Thankfully, I've refocused my efforts and expect to be in damned good shape by next summer, but it's left me much more self-conscious than I'd like to be.

My legs are too hairy, and my arms are too hairy. But I like:



1) My chest is very easy to build.
2) I have legs that are very strong--thick claves.
3) My eyes are gorgeous. You would totally let me fuck you if you got to see them in real life. I would sooooo totally fuck you.
