Tyra and her god damn hair!!

How many people are sick of Tyra Banks obsessing over her own hair?! I am! Since this new season began, it's all she ever talks about. Ok, I commend her for taking that dreadful wig/weave off and going "natural" but please give it a rest now. She went as far as having it cut and styled on the 1st episode and even let the audience members come up and run their fingers through it. She is not the only black woman to wear her own hair. I am a black woman who is doing the same and so are many others. I actually feel she's sending out a negative message by constantly doing this. She's making it seem like it's so rare for us to sport our own hair which is not true. Of course I know many women of color wear extensions but not everyone and I don't feel a metal shoudl be given out for it either. Any thoughts on this subject? Hair is a hot topic at the moment with the Chris Rock film coming out which I plan to see. I just feel she takes it too far and is so self absorbed.

I can only take her in small doses, I watched the talk show today about the hair movie tho.

I guess the way she's going on about her hair is good promo for the movie? eitherway she always comes off as self absorbed, like if someone's being abused by their boyfriend of course she's got a story to tell about how her boyfriend, althought not physically, abused her and how long she put up with it... but it is The Tyra Show after all.
and she gets overthetop sometimes... in every episode




Oh AND I hate her new logo, theme song and the stage is weird

yes, so far this season has been about Tyra and her hair. by the way, you are right about the new theme music. it is weird how her name is being chanted like that. did she talk about her hair today again? i didn't see it. i do like her new look overall. last season her style was kinda homely.
