Where Is The Most Beautiful Place You've Ever Seen?

Could be halfway around the world or an hour down the road...you could have vacationed there or lived there...doesn't matter. Where would you say is THE most beautiful place you've ever seen?

Cahuita in Costa Rica, that´s on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. The Pacific coast is also nice but I simply LOVE this place and went there lots of times and miss it sooo much that it makes me sick and depressed sometimes. Like Jack Shephard from LOST after he left the island.
lol

Love is just like the faucet
It turns off and on
Sometimes when you think it's on baby
It has turned off and gone

I also have a very special and personal connection to this place on the west coast of Turkey. I love the Aegaen Sea.

Hey, that looks like Izmir ! You´ve been to Izmir ? eek
I thought you only went to Istanbul ( and then to Greece/Santorini)?
When did you visit the west coast ? I have my roots there.

nod The island is a nature reserve so it is pretty much untouched by big hotel chains etc. Mostly fisherman live on the island. That was back in 2004 though. I just read an article about the island and it is quickly becoming a tourist attraction.

I'ma say Maui

But I also live near the rockies and I gotta say those mountains look quite nice. I went to an artist's house who had one corner of his house that pointed towards them and it was all windows. It had to be one of the most gorgeous views.

I dunno, I like Mount Rushmore too. I like mountains.

Vrsar (Croatian) / Orsera (Italian). It's situated on the north of the Adriatic Sea.

Your pics are beautiful as well nod

Fauxie

So hard to choose. Ronda in Spain is gorgeous and breathtaking, but there are some beautiful places in Thailand on Koh Phangan and Phuket, and nearly every single place I went in NZ looked stunning like a postcard. I love the Wicklow mountains in Ireland, and I like staying by lakes, so Lake Tahoe and Khaeng Khrachan national park in Thailand would have to be up there, and then there's the Cotswold hills where I grew up.

I'm going to have to say Bangtao Bay on Phuket, 'cause even though it's quite commercialized with big hotels, the sunsets we got every evening were awesome.
