That's a little complicated. I didn't officially move out of my mother's house until last year, when I was 23.

I moved out of my parents' house at 18 to go off to college. When I graduated at 23, I lived with them again for about 5 months until I got my own place. ________________

Wanted to move out earlier but I was in charge of my mum since I was 16. When she left for the mental institution I couldn't imagine staying with her loony ex so I left and started a homeless experience for one year. One year later I came back to normal life, job market and get a place to rent. Then I came back to "my previous place" with my man and two policemen to get my stuff back and moved out for good. 18 years old. One day before I graduated high school. “Sometimes I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.”

Now I'm back, but not by choice. I am recently divorced and am going to nursing school to try and make a better life for myself and my kids. No way I could get a place of my own and pay all of my bills on what I get in child support from my ex. I thought child support was strictly for the kids, not for you to live on. Working while going to school isn't an option? I know it isn't easy, trust me. The Normal Whores Club

I moved out at 18 to go to college, but I don't count that b/c I lived in the dorms and I had to come back home every summer. I moved back home to live at 21 when my roomate graduated before me. I'm still living at home, hoping to move out soon after I graduate in December.

After college, I stayed until I was 25 and my school loans were all paid. It's nice being debt free.
