How can you tell if it's a fake?

My Mom wants me to put some purses on Ebay,but she isn't sure of they are real of fake(they are not her's). Two are COACH,and one is Luis Vuitton. Anyone know how to tell a fake?

1. Ask the original invoice or receipt (unless the person herself got the bag from ebay)

2. Usually the date code is engraved on the inside

Chicks always know a fake from the real deal...esp when it comes to Purses or shoes.

i think you can tell that by the serial number inside the bag. ask for a shot of it and show it to someone who's an expert on designer bags.

Their is nothing on the inside except for a stamp that reads R Luis Vuitton Made In France

Well I don't buy alot of designer purses or shoes so i am not familiar with them. smile

I can always spot a fake designer bag by the stitching work and the zippers. Fake LV's normally sell for anywhere between $100 & $200. It's always best to buy direct from the designer, that way reproductions can be avoided & U will be assured it's the real deal... thumbs up!

True. there not mine though,my Mom wanted me to sell them for a friend of her's. They are his ex girlfriends,and I guess she did'nt want them,or something. I would never personally buy anything like this unless it was out of the actual store or from an official distributor. smile

Good point! Also a good reason to ask for the original receipt, of course they always can reply that it was a present or something, but still, you got nothing to lose just trying
