This is the 2nd notice...

that the factory warranty on your vehicle is about to expire."

OMG... this is the spam call that I've been getting from different phone numbers for the last 6 months!

I got the first in February right after I got this phone number and thought it was maybe for someone who had this number previously. But as it has continued from various numbers, I realized it's just stupid marketing. Arrrrrgggghhhh!!!!

Anyone else getting this isht? Or other stupid calls?

i fell from the heavens as a fetish blessed with an operatic skeleton
and as the stars watched me descend i cracked the family tree
and dropped off all of the branches

I don't own a car either. Which is probably what they're hoping for, because they just want you to call the number, and you're probably more likely to do that if you don't have a car.

except... when I have stayed on the line, I ask them to take off my number and they say ok. if i call the number back, it doesn't ring, just disconnects. I think this racket is to make a car owner think they need to "extend" their warranty before it expires, when they are actually selling you a whole new one. Probably a bunch of elderly victims. I hate telemarketers!!!

Oh. Maybe. I never called it. I just assumed it was either a number that sounds like it's toll-free but isn't or a scam to get you to reveal your SS# or something.

I've gotten those calls too at all my numbers. Confused the heck out of me, til I called them back and found out they didn't even know what kind of car I had.

Although the phone company said I was ex-directory I keep getting these damn calls. Where did they get my number?
