I'm Going To A Cheesecake Bake-Off!!!

It's next weekend here in town. People have signed up to bake their best, tastiest cheesecakes, and other people have signed up to try them out. Of course, I've signed up to try them. I'm soooo excited about going to this, since as some of ya'll know, I'm a cheesecake fanatic. I get to vote on my favorite cheesecake, and take the recipes home too. Gotta save my appetite, so I'll be good and hungry. This is going to be great.

Even after that many slices I just dont see myself ever hating cheesecake

Okay, so I just got back from the Cheesecake Bake-Off. OMG, it was sooo much fun getting to try 8 different flavored cheesecakes. There were about 8 people who baked a cheesecake, and about 20-25 people there who got to taste them, and vote for their favorite. You got 5 tickets for tasting 5 different pieces of cheesecake, and another ticket for voting, for $7. I wound up getting to try all 8 without having to pay the $1 extra per ticket, since the gentlemen at the table next to me had some that he was not using. Whenever you took a piece of cheesecake, you would drop the ticket into a glass bottle that was in front of the individual who baked it. We also got to vote on which one that we liked best, which was a hard, hard choice for all of us, since they were all sooooo damn good. The cheesecake that won was an apple pie flavored one. It was good, but not my favorite. The winner got a $25 gift certificate to The Cheesecake Factory (which is the place that started my cheesecake craze). The people who were there were all very friendly, and I had a great time. This is the first cheesecake bake-off that they had. I hope they have another one next year, because I definitely will go again.
