Dippin Dots - Yay Or Nay? Dippin dots is being touted as the "ice cream of the future", but I've never even tried them, because they just don't appeal to me. I can't get too excited about ice cream that is made into little circles. They kind of remind me of nonpareil candies that you put on top of cookies or candy, for some reason. If I'm going to have some ice cream, I would rather just eat the smooth creamy kind. I'm not willing to settle for a cheap imitation. Why mess with a good thing such as ice cream, which is perfectly great the way it is? Has anyone here ever tried them, and are they any good?

i'm sure it tastes just fine but it doesn't look like the shape serves any purpose. i like ice cream in big chunky lumps, either on a bowl or on a cone or on a stick. i don't want it in little pebble form. what's that about? no. do not want. |

My state amusement park has a Dipping Dots stand and a Dove ice cream bar stand. I always go for the Dove. Chocolate covered ice cream on a stick just seems to make more sense. Just because you're paranoid don't mean they're not after you.  | |

Dippin Dots are actually good, but the teeny doses of ice cream are extraordinarily frustrating. They're like watching an adult film on a scrambled cable channel as a kid. ________________
