free photo software?

Does anyone know of a (free) decent photo program?

I have some fabulous photos that I need to print and the software I have just isn't up to scratch - I want to be able to make some piccies black and white and be able to print in a range of sizes - which mine doesn't do...

Can anyone help?

Just download a torrent of Nikon Capture NX or Photoshop.

Neat Image has a free trial version if your images are noisy, though it saves compressed.
