I've Lost 20 lbs...

Only 80 more to go!

Boyfriend asked if I lost 100 could I deflate my big head too... He's got jokes. Said I will look like Star Jones after the surgery if I lose that much. I guess she does look really crazy after all that weight...but I'm doing it without the surgeon's knife.

But oh well. I'm telling you all cause then I have to answer to all y'all's asses. Seriously, it took 5 months to lose them 20. My mind state is getting way more focused and the scale is responding. Weight loss is TOTALLY a mental mind game.

Yay me! I'm finally getting over that difficult hump and it's 100 miles and running! Y'all skinny bitches better watch out! With my face and HOT bod to match...y'all need to get your game up! smile

Congrats on your weight loss. Several years ago, I lost 60-some pounds. Now, I'm dieting again, because even though I don't eat junk food, I put on 7 pounds over the winter months (due to not walking, which I do in the nice months, but not when it's snowing or nasty outside). I know how hard it is, keep up the good work. clapping clapping
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Thanks! I discovered Kennesaw Mountain out here in GA. I swear that is part of the reason for it to start coming off. That mountain is well...a mountain! The wonderful thing is that I realized that you don't have to train like an athelete to lose weight.

Girl, just get some dieter's tea and stay home for a few days and crap out the 7 pounds! ha ha!!!!!

falloff It's great that you have a mountain to climb, that would be great exercise. No mountains here, but there is a nice park to walk in.

agreed, it is hard but it is all a mental game, im, working on it, going to the gym 4 times a week, given up chocolate ( my main love lol) and sodas, junk food etc, it feels awesome!

and don't eat meat/chicken cause it doesn't sit with me very well, rarely eat fish ( hopefully to cut that one out 2)

don't drink/smoke

still have a lot 2 go though.....

heres to the orgers who wish 2 succeed!

if i could do the chocolate thing in moderation i would but i can't, if i have one, i finish the whole thing.

i cut out the soda just cause i got used 2 drinking water and herbal tea, and when i do take a sip i find it very very sweet so i just don't go there anymore.

i agree nothing off limits, all in moderation , gr8 attitude, don't think it works 4 me though, but if i do want a sugar fix i have a bit of a coconut/apricot bar ( apparently natural) and eat it slowly lol .

Congratulations. You may have lost the 20 pounds but dammitt, I found them. lol

I know how hard it is to lose weight because I lost a lot myself a few years ago and was so happy about it, I started using the "vain" in front of my name. Since my mother's death last year, I have put on a lot of pounds. I want to get them back off again but I don't have the strengh, determination, or will power I had back then.

Losing your mother is a great cause for grief comfort I would never try to get on a regimine until I healed the wounds I had on the inside. I gained a lot of weight last year due t a stressful job and deppression. I knew I had to leave to save my health.

Seriously, heal you up on the inside before the outside can follow.

I'm the exact same way. When I was dieting, chocolate was the enemy. I have always loved chocolate and I knew I couldn't control myself once I tasted it. It's like a mad dog getting it's first taste of blood. I remember one night back then, I was sick and damn tired of being hungry and was craving some chocalate. I went to the grocery store and two o'clock in the morning, bought a chocolate cake, and ate the whole damn thing. lol

I'm the same way too, I tend to over-indulge in junk food that I like. I have found the best thing to do is to just keep away from it. May sound kind of strange, but that's how it is with me. lol

Thanks! And thanks to everyone. I'm off to hike that mountain again. I think 80 pounds of my ass will end up on that trail when I'm through.

I'm a dork, but I LOVE doing that mountain hike thing. Yeah, that's a permanent thing now.
