Cooking Stinky Food at Work!

STOP IT! mad No one wants to smell your stinky fish left overs being nuked in the microwave! In fact fish left overs ought to be banned at work unless it's sushi!

And to all you micro-popcorn lovers...STOP BURNING THAT SHIT! We had this chick who LOVED the smell of burnt popcorn. People just have no insight as to thing that they like other may not!

At my ex husband's squadron they used to make jalapeno popcorn and every time you walked in that place it really stunk. And your nose burned from the hotness.

Seriously though. When people bring in funked up leftovers from home and nuke them at work and that mixes with everyone else's funked up nuked leftovers...

feeling ill

One of my colleagues that I can't stand for so many reasons had the "brilliant" idea to bring a grill steak machine and had his steak grilled at the office.
It was so smoky, smelled of grease, I was so angry that day eek

We have a canteen at work and Friday is fish day, so the lovely aroma wafts around the whole building.

Not so bad Wednesdays, roast dinner day
oh mama I wish I could resist ...

Where I work (the netherlands) no one ever brings his own food but here in Capetown disbelief sometimes the smell is just nasty..but they don't have any catering so they have to neutral and they are not used to having a sandwich during lunch...well some are,but the majority are warming up their lunch (like rice and chicken brest, fish and in the afternoon popcorn) neutral

See and you wonder why you get bothered during lunch. They must consider your food stinky.

just as often as not. lol

though there's a target a couple blocks away with an anemic but adequate veggie foods section, which often works for me in a pinch.

OMG, I am sooo glad you started this thread. I have considered starting a thread about this several times, but didn't. The smell of fish drives me nuts, that shit stinks so damn bad! There was a girl I used to work with who would cook fish in the microwave, ugghhh, used to drive me nuts with the odor. It got to the point where I wanted to put a "Please DO NOT cook fish in the microwave. We don't want to have to deal with the stinky smell" on the microwave. But I didn't, because I knew if I did, people would be up in arms about it. Popcorn stinks bad too when it gets burned. That smell travels all the way down the hallway. ill ill
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

The girl in the next cubicle to me loved to eat reheated broccoli. Unfortunately, it smelled like ass.

I eat ever day at my desk. I know there are some days when my co-workers must hate me.

Probably either burger day, or chicken masala day.

Sushi really shouldn't be consumed if it's "left overs" though. That's kinda dangerous lol

I hate people who spill half their lunch in the microwave, then walk away and leave the mess. Or the half eaten/half drank containers of food/drink left in there till someone else throws them out. mad
