i don't even care if i get responses to this or not
but i just ordered some new boots last night
and they're on their way to my house in hamilton




i'm SOOOOO excited, because they're kitschy but i feel like i can work'em
i guess i feel that way because everyone thinks they're ugly - and i rock ugly well

I live in a coooold ass climate, so I often overdose on boots where I just can't stand seein' 'em NO MORE, but...

I like the first pair, they have that Paris/Tokyo groovegirl-streetwear thing going on. I've been wearing similar ones for a long ass time now ( i got lots of 'em in diff. colors ), but I only wear short ankle ones for convenience cause I'm always kicking my shoes off every chance I get

but OH, Calhoun: GRRRRL, if you could see all the dress boots on sale right now here you would flip your freakin' lid! Happens like clockwork every year at this time, because with all these cobbled assed streets nobody can wear those shoes without falling and breaking their behinds!!! Now all the spring shoes are in too (with those HIGH ASS HEELS) and mark my words, in just a couple of months, those babies are going to plummet faster than a junkie from a window on PSP

...In the meantime the "average" cute, flat boots are still running 230 Euro ($323) in evryday, mid-level stores, OR 79Euro ($116) for the CHEAPEST flat leather boot at our version of "Payless". It's criminal

I love these!! The only reason they're not in my closet is b/c different websites keep showing me different colors & I can't trust it - if it 's THIS blue, great! But if it's the brighter, borderline turquoise I see on the Seychelles website (which should be the true color, I'm thinking) I can't hang. They gotta be more demure. Plus that arch looks like it could be a serious bitch!

But youngin's can do the flat shoe & it's cute (Sammi, you're in your 20's, right?) I need a heel & some sexy right about now & I wish I could partake in these sales you're on about, Otten
